AngelBay.Foundation

AngelBay.Foundation is our non-profit arm for channelizing charity money to curated NGOs. The key issues we focus on are health, livelihood, food security, education and improving living conditions.

NGO Partners

Gurukul Public School

  • Gurukul Public School was started by Pooja Mishra, an IIM Calcutta graduate in 2012. She opted out of the placement process to start a school for underprivileged children

  • The school is located in a remote village (Purasi) in  Raibareli district and has classes from Nursery to class X (We recently got affiliated to CBSE board)

  • Gurukul Public School is a charitable school providing free/subsidized English medium education to rural underprivileged children

  • The school was started with 28 kids and now has close to 800 students

  • Gurukul is a dream! A dream set in the belief that if given the right opportunity every child can flourish and a belief in education being a social emancipation tool that can overcome social barriers of our society.

Support Required

  • Support infrastructure by one time contribution (classes and labs)

  • Support community impacted by Covid @Rs600 per kit

Samarpan Ek Prayas

  • Samarpan Ek Prayas provides subsidized food and water to underpriviledged in Bareilly district of UP

  • Started in April 2017, has been distributing around 50k meals per year

  • It also operates water atm for providing clean drinking water

  • 150 meals for one day @3000 for occasions like birthday or events

  • Yes to Life NGO was founded in 2014 by Neeti Leekha Chahbra (Ph.D.) who beat breast cancer at the age of 31 years in 2012. She left her job as a Professor to exclusively focus on the cause

  • The team is working with the aim to contribute in lowering the mortality rate arising out of breast cancer

  • 5 Main Areas of Operation (with outreach) –

          1. Breast Cancer Awareness Talks/Events - >65,000 people

           2. Cancer screenings for E.W.S.  – >500 people

           3. Support group, counselling - > 500 people

           4. Financial support for treatment –  15 patients (>Rs.10 lacs)

           5. Rehabilitation - free Saathi kit to patients who have lost a breast to cancer – >250 (new initiative)

  • Dr. Neeti is a TEDx speaker. The team and their work have been covered by CNN IBN, Hindustan Times, The Hindu, Femina, Dainik Jagaran, Elle, Prevention etc.
